What a fun evening I had last night. I had a chance to attend one of the cooking classes at CULINARYON. I’m impressed with their edutainment concept. Breaking the barrier of traditional cooking schools which focus on the technical skills, cooking at CULINARYON is fun, enjoyable, and truly a memorable experience. You can sip wine, drink prosecco, mingle with other participants, and at the same time cook. This is certainly in line with their tag line “Cooking is Fun”.
The CULINARYON studio was first opened in Moscow in 2012 and by September 2013, CULINARYON (Moscow) has doubled in size. The Singapore studio is the second in the world. The spacious 7,000 sq ft studio is divided into a conference room and 4 cooking studios with its own cooking stations, chef table, and a bar.
CULINARYON Studio is designed to exude a relaxed atmosphere, equipped with brick walls, artistic wooden floors and kitchen decor. You will certainly feels like home here; perfect for cooking and also for private party. It has dimmed, warm light that is welcoming.
Our resident chef last night was Chef Giuseppe d’Angelo. The menu was Tagliatelle with Porcini Mushrooms and Fruit Salad with Mango Ice Cream.
He taught us how to make tagliatelle from scratch. We even had a chance to knead the dough and to cut the pasta. How cool is that?
For the dessert, he taught us on how to cut each fruit correctly. We then whipped our heavy cream and prepared the eggs. He then put all of the ingredients and pour liquid nitrogen in it.
The result was smooth, silky ice cream that tasted amazing! And here’s the picture:
Too bad the night ended and I can’t wait to be back here. In fact, I have checked their schedule for the next class I can attend. So, if you’re looking for a place to have a party, company function that is extraordinary, you might want to try this place!
