[Recipe] Vegan Banana Bread

Simple and easy to make yet so delicious! You can just pop this in your microwave before eating and voila! Perfect for breakfast or tea.


1 tin bread/loaf tins


200g Self-raising flour

2tsp Baking powder

2tsp Cinnamon powder

100g Demerara sugar

3  Bananas (large)

75g Coconut oil


1. Preheat oven to 180deg Celsius.

2. Put sliced banana, sugar, and coconut oil in a bowl. Use a hand blender to mix everything together. Make sure there are no banana chunks left.

3. Sieve the flour, baking powder and cinnamon powder. Fold them into the wet ingredients and mix well.

The final batter is stiff and doughy.

4. Put the batter in a tin loaf that has been lined with parchment paper and bake at 180deg Celsius for 20 minutes (uncovered) and continue to bake for another 20 minutes (covered with aluminum foil).

5. Take it out from the oven and cool it on the rack before slicing.
