Stay Experience At The Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung

Trans Luxury Hotel Bandung
Lobby and Reception Area

Located at the heart of Bandung City, The Trans Luxury Hotel is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. This is my second time here and I’m still amazed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. I love how luxurious the interior is; with touches of red, gold and black as its theme.

This time, I stayed in the Premier Club Room. Upon arrival, I was escorted to the Private Reception which is an exclusive privilege when you book this type of room.  Checking-in itself was a breeze; it took us less than 5 minutes to get our room keys.

The Guest Relation staff emailed a questionnaire before my trip to find out my preferences. I can choose a low-floor or high-floor room, pool view or city view, corner room, connecting room, room temperature, etc. I can even choose the type of tea or fruits I want.

The room itself is about 40sqm, quite spacious for two. The curtains and drapes are controlled by electronic switches on the wall. There’s a mood lighting control to adjust the brightness of the lamps on the ceiling. Complimentary daily in-room fruits are also provided. And I was so happy that the high speed internet access was actually fast.

I love how elegant the bathroom is. It’s full marble bathroom with separate bathtub and shower. Acqua di Parma luxury amenities are replenished every day. And yes, there’s a bath bomb too!

THE CLUB LOUNGE

Perched on the highest floor of The Trans Luxury Hotel, you can enjoy private meeting rooms and personalized butler services. This Club Lounge access is complimentary for Premier Club room and above. You can enjoy breakfast, afternoon high tea, evening cocktail and evening high tea at different times of the day.

I visited the Club Lounge during their evening cocktail. Besides cocktails, they have lovely canapé spread, from bruschetta to beef balls to sushi.

These are two of their most popular cocktails; Cosmopolitan and Blue Sapphire. I loved their Blue Sapphire as it’s so refreshing. It’s a mix of blue Curaçao and soda, garnished with mint leaves and slices of lemon.

Chef Lukman was very kind and offered us to taste some of his creations. This is Potato Parmesan, made from potato purée, colored with beetroot and then rolled into paper-thin sheets.

My favorite has gotta be this Beef Cheek served atop mashed potatoes, garnished with crispy kale, carrot and shredded potato. The beef was super tender and juicy. The sauce was amazing. The crispness from the fried potato and crispy kale added some texture to this dish.

THE RESTAURANT

Located on the third floor of this hotel, this buffet-style restaurant is where they serve breakfast and dinner. You can choose Western, Asian or Indonesian delights. Some live cooking stations such as egg station and waffle station are available during breakfast too.

THE 18th RESTAURANT AND LOUNGE

This restaurant offers exclusive private dining both indoor and alfresco. Catch the gorgeous Bandung skyline during sunset while enjoying selections of International cuisine.

If you’re feeling brave, you can check out the Sky Walk where you can step on the glass platform and look a dizzying 18 floors down.

For dinner, I chose AUS-Black Angus Tenderloin, 200gr (around S$45). It’s one of their best-sellers on the menu. It comes with a choice of side dish. The meat was beautifully cooked and tender. The portion looks small, but in fact it’s the right size.

Ended our dinner with Mille Feuille with Fresh Berries that does not only look pretty but delicious too.

Overall, our staying experience was nothing but wonderful. This definitely won’t be my last visit. See you again, Bandung!
